Have you seen Run in Start Menu in Windowns Vista? No, by default, Windows Vista does not have the Run in Start Menu. But you see the Run box in Windows XP. You can easily obtain it and hide it through some extra easy work.
Here are the steps:
1. Right click on the taskbar, the go to "Properties".
2. Click on Start Menu tab, then click on Customize. [click on the below picture to view the window]
3. Check Run commend.
4. To hide Run from Start Menu from XP or Vista just uncheck the box.
5. From now you will have Run in Start Menu
6. You can go to Run directly pressing shortcut key: "Windows key" + "R".
